This is a picture at my old elementary school. It’s a collage representing the changing seasons. Here is its story:
My 2nd grade teacher thought I was retarded. She couldn’t get me to work, because I knew that if I played stupid long enough they’d just give me the answers. I worked the system. Anyway, she contacted the principal and he thought she was being ridiculous and insisted that we both meet instead every Friday for lunch so that he could try and convince me to work harder, knowing I was capable.
At the time I was playing a game. My very first video game, “The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons”. It was a fairly recent release, but I was able to get a used version at a gaming store. I played it constantly, and fell in love with the story. So when my principle asked me if I had any ideas for a new collage outside of the school, I began to reitterate what the logo looked like.
So though I made up the collage with the help of my principle, it was initally inspired by Zelda.
Thats my story.
