This is a picture at my old elementary school. It’s a collage representing the changing seasons. Here is its story:
My 2nd grade teacher thought I was retarded. She couldn’t get me to work, because I knew that if I played stupid long enough they’d just give me the answers. I worked the system. Anyway, she contacted the principal and he thought she was being ridiculous and insisted that we both meet instead every Friday for lunch so that he could try and convince me to work harder, knowing I was capable.
At the time I was playing a game. My very first video game, “The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons”. It was a fairly recent release, but I was able to get a used version at a gaming store. I played it constantly, and fell in love with the story. So when my principle asked me if I had any ideas for a new collage outside of the school, I began to reitterate what the logo looked like.
So though I made up the collage with the help of my principle, it was initally inspired by Zelda.
Thats my story.

A (very quickly wrote) take on Skyward Sword.
Okay, let me just say something. I wasn’t a big fan of Skyward Sword. It was fun, it was interesting. But I’m a guy who loves plausibility and more realistic fantasy games. The idea that instead of Link’s iconic tunic coming from the green garb the rest of the Kokori wore, and that it came from a ‘Knight Academy’, is a little silly. The other way was so much more real. So much more believable.
The characters of Skyward Sword were weak. I don’t mean depth or development wise, but they were all so child-like in their actions. They weren’t clever or brave.
The graphics were blurry.
Fi was obnoxious. She sounded stupid, she did stupid things, and she was just an annoying character that I was happy to see go.
The temples were unique and fun, but easy. The bosses weren’t any harder than those of Twilight Princess. The only difference from TP their looks matched their difficulty.
Zelda was just… lets just say I couldn’t stand her.
The various species were boring.
The music wasn’t anything great.
There was nothing to explore. You had to follow the routes to play the game. You couldn’t search and discover.
The story was…
Now, I don’t hate Skyward Sword. I liked it. I had fun playing it, but it wasn’t my favorite game and I would even go to say Twilight Princess was better. But over all I stick to say that Ocarina remains the best in the series.
Okay I’m done ranting.

The Cross has appeared in several early Zelda titles, primarily in The Legend of Zelda and in Adventure of Link. Although the Triforce had debuted in The Legend of Zelda, it did not initially appear as a religous icon in the Zelda series until A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. It would seem to suggest thatChristianity was initially supposed to be the intended religion in the Zelda series (however it should also be noted that Christianity is viewed as a symbolism in Japan, and not as a religion). This is proven by two items. The first item is primarily the Book of Magic, which was originally called the Bible (バイブル) in Japanese releases, but its name was changed in American releases as it violated Nintendo of America’s, at the time, strict guidelines of mentioning religous content in their products. Despite this, the Cross can still be seen imprinted on the Magic Book’s in-game cover sprite and in its official artwork. The second item is an actualCross in Adventure of Link, which is used to make flying Moas appear visible. The Cross has also appeared engraved on the head of tombstones, and on small shields and Magical Shields in both titles.
Although The Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link were the only Zelda games that featured the Cross within them, the Christian Cross had also made an appearance in an official artwork of A Link in the Past, depicting Link kneeling in front of the crucifix, a Cross with the representation of Jesus’ body, in prayer. Although how ‘official’ this artwork is, is debatable as it only appeared in two Japanese A Link to the Past guide books. It is thought that this is one of the more stronger references to Christianity in the Zelda series and also seems to suggest that Link may have been portrayed as a Christian, even though Christianity in Japan as viewed more as a symbolism. However this depiction was only in the form of official artwork in two guides, and there is no Christian references within the actual game. However it is also believed by some that the sanctuary also strongly resembles a church, and also when Link prays infront of an ancient stone tablet he makes cross sign on his chest with his finger before praying, what most christians do before praying. It should also be noted that although the Triforce had appeared in the form of a religious icon starting in A Link to the Past, the religion of the Golden Goddesses was not yet established until Ocarina of Time.
In all of these cases, these were the sole appearances of the Cross and Christian references in the Zelda series.
Question…
If all of the humans are in Skyloft.. then what types of villages will we see in Hyrule? Will it generally just be Gorons, Zoros, etc? Will we miss out on people like Malon, and Talon? The Carpenters? Will it matter? Will it be a good game? Will Zelda’s shitty haircut mess it all up? Will Ganon ever be in a Zelda game again? Will Zelda ever get a tan? SKYWARD SWORD JUST COME OUT ALREADY DAMN
